So Small

Btw guys, I will be going away on a cruise from 12-17 December. Rhapsody of the Seas, one of the biggest (if not the biggest) cruise ship to dock in Singapore. I heard that it cannot dock at the usual ferry terminal cos errrm, it's too big and it risks hitting the cable car cables. In this way, I guess we're all still so small in this industry.

Anyway, So Small is the title of the Carrie Underwood's latest single.

I like the verse "sometimes the mountain u've been climbing is just a grain of sand". It seems like something u've been trying so hard to achieve seems so easy when you look back in the future. Dont you ever get this feeling? Lol.

Anyway other than that, I guess this song is about people trying very hard to to go for the "big" things in life when everything they needed like love, friendship and family were right there in front of them. Soon, all these "big" things become the small things.

This is especially so in a society that breeds "wants" rather than "needs" inside us.

I especially like the verses "And worrying about all the wrong things...Time's flying by, moving so fast...You better make it count cause you can't get it back". Well, maybe I can relate to it very well. Some of you must have heard of "Carpe Diem, Seize the Day". Basically, whatever you've always wanted to do or tell someone, you should seize whatever chance you have to do it, cos usually people never know what they've got till its gone...

O well. I guess I'm just so small...
