The Eclipse

It starts with light, and ends with light, and in between there is darkness.

Almost a global event, an eclipse makes us appreciate just how small our planet really is.

We usually get fooled into thinking our planet is large - large enough that you think you can hide from anything. From people, from fate, from God - if only you found a place far enough away. So you run to the ends of the Earth where all is safe again - quiet and warm. You feel the calmness of crisp air. The luxury of freedom. And perhaps you start to think and believe that you've finally escaped...

Well, you can run far... You can take your small precautions, but have you really gotten away? Can you ever escape? Or is the truth that you do not have the power and wisdom to hide from fate? The world is not small, you are. And fate can find you anywhere. And when you finally pass on from this world to the next, and when God judges you, will you be able to face Him knowing that you've tried to escape His glory and love all your life?

You can never hide...
