I passed both my Chemistry and Physics. To think some people even bet that I'll fail chem lol...

I miss Malaysia...

And i miss boring breakfast too lol...

O and did i fail to mention that i put on 10kg during those 6 days? (actually should be 2 weeks as i kept eating before my Malaysian Trip, but why do people still keep saying i got round head skinny body?) HOW?!

The answer is...

I oso dunno...lol...
MALAYSIA TRIP

Day 1 - Thursday 23rd November

First day of the trip, we initially planned to leave at 6am and reach Malacca at 9am, but instead we left at 9am due to me being unable to wake up (surprise, surprise).

On the way to Malasyisa, we were lost at Tuas. This was really an irony as we did not get lost in Malaysia yet we were lost in our own sunny Singapore. I saw a truck accident on the way to Malaysia lol, plus the driver was lying down on a pillow as he crashed (that was retarded...haha or maybe i got so confused between airbags and pillows! Oh I'm weird!).

Once we got into malaysia, it was a straight drive to Malacca. The car window strangely broke down and we could not wind it back up. Why was it strange? COS IT WAS FRIGGIN SENT FOR SERVICING THE DAY BEFORE! It was a really noisy drive. My father got the worst of it as his face was exposed to the elements. Plus it's hot nowadays rite.

Finally, we got into Malacca and checked into the rennaisance. The friendly hotel staff helped us find a mechanic. The mechanics were also friendly. Heh they took the door apart literally. I finally saw what it looked like inside. No wonder everyone says that its the inside that matters. I guess they mite also be referring to cars. The car without doubt looks nice on the outside, but the inside is whats more fascinating. You can even learn about life in a mechanic shop man - You may be great on the outside, but if the inside is bad (window malfunction), you are nothing.

Looks like it couldnt be fixed as the parts on the insdie blew, so the window had to instead be fixed upwards. The downside is if u wind it back down, it'll be stuck again lol. The whole thing only costs RM20, i tot it would cost hundreds of bucks.

Anyway, I had the privilege of eating the best mee goreng ever for lunch! I also got to eat at the Portugese seafood restaurant called Ocean Terrace during dinner. It seems as though they keep moving every year or two lol. Wad a busy life for them working till midnight. After looking at them work, its lyk i've got no excuse for not studying hard lol. They're all friendly staff and seem to be enjoying their job a lot.

Took a cab back. The taxi driver was friendly too and told us more about Malacca. This was the same taxi driver who took us to Ocean Terrace and arrived back on time (he could predict when we'd finish eating!!). If you wana find out more about any place overseas, talk to the taxi drivers!

Good food and good service in Malacca can never be found in Singapore man (thats why i keep saying everyone is friendly lol). Yet I saw a Singaporean couple scolding the receptionist for bad service. Lol good frief, the Singaporeans should learn to be less spoilt! After dinner, it was back to sketching and thats all for the day.

Day 2 - Friday 24th November

Ouch. Woke up with a real bad stomachache. Had a bad diarrhoea, opps i mean 2...and it's still morning! I suspect salmonella (or stress? why?). The reason why i was so pissed was cos i had a buffet breakfast which was interrupted by that dreaded diarrhoea, opps again i meant THOSE diarrhoeas (is there even a plural for diarrhoea?)

Anyway there was a grand event going on - The sultan of Malacca visited the hotel! Ooo...due to my stomachache, i had to stay in the room, too weak to go out. The sultan was very considerate due to the fact that i saw him giving way to my parents as they were about to enter the lift. An action like this seems small but hes the type of person who would bring himself down to a normal civillian's level and respect them at all times. Leaders should definitely learn from his example of not acting big yea.

My parents brought satay back for me. The best Satay ever! After that we packed up and left for Kuala Lumpur. Goodbye Malacca, I will miss your food service and food. Although i took away much good experiences, i brought back with me character traits as well which would definitely make life much better me.

Anyway, we reached KL and checked in to Hotel Istana. I just slept, too sick to do anything. Had dinner at a chinese restaurant which was very nice. Everyone kept telling me to eat more...like wth, its not like i'm skinny...lol i can still recall the round head skinny body joke...but nvm.

After that i had more abdominal pains. Walking back to the hotel was hell, it's lyk being ruptured by bloodseeker (u'd know if u play DOTA lol). This better not happen during my CCA hike (if i pass prelims lar). Hope i get well soon.

Day 3 - Saturday 25th November

Woke up and gone down for breakfast. After that we walked to Times Square. I had a bad fall on the way. Not my fault, the slope was very slippery and had fine cement particles covering it. Luckily being a scout, i know first aid and manage to treat myself with a roller bandage and antiseptic cream. Lol it was bleeding lyk a fountain anyway.

Didnt buy much at Times Square other than DVDs. My stomach still hurts a hell load, i suspect gastric. Bittergourd is an effective antacid, trust me.

Anyway we went to a nice restaurant to celebrate a relative's, i mean relatives' birthday. I saw a dark skinned boy and a short fat boy fighting lol. I named them Balanar (Night Stalker) and Pudge (Butcher), both are characters from DOTA. Laughing the whole night man. Ok thats all for today, I'm gonna sketch, sketch and sketch.

Day 4 - Sunday 26th November

Woke up and went to my cousin's room to watch Death note, yes death note again. Lol we had to stop the movie halfway due to the timing for breakfast. Somehow i'm getting sick of this type of hotel buffet breakfast. Anyway after that i went to her room again to watch grudge 2 and part of Happy Feet. Darn it, of all movies, happy feet didnt work!! Grudge 2 was a comedy to me lol. After that i went back to my room to sleep.

I didnt expect something to happen for dinner. I saw Balanar and Pudge again. It was obvious that they were fighting and causing destruction in the restaurant. I didnt know that Balanar was a taekwondo blackbelt. Anyway i highly doubt that he is cos i defeated him in sparring and caught him in a minor deathgrip to stop his nonsense. Pudge was harder to handle cos hes fat but i still managed to subdue him with the death grip. Yay the racket finally stopped!

I next went to Pudge's house. Omg he had a hell load of games. I found it strange as he told me earlier that he didnt know wad a computer was...yeah right...but at first i believed him as i also know that 1/3 of the world do not have telephones in their houses. Still i dun understand why he has no DOTA or CS despite having games like Call of Duty and Jedi Knight 2. Ate cake there and went back to the hotel to sleep...Zzz

Day 5 - Monday 27th November

Had the same old breakfast again. Anyway, I went to Mid Valley after that. Bought a hell load of stuff there. I didnt know that there was a scout shop over there, i somehow felt very much at home. Haha i wanted to buy the Malaysian SPL badge, but nvm lol my USA SPL badge looks much cuter. Secret Recipe is a very nice restaurant to eat at. Trust me, the Award Winning Lamb Stew is superb.

Anyway after that it was just walk walk walk, more tired than first class hike. I really mean it. Alternate stoning and walking is very tiring. Then brought dinner back to the hotel. Ayamas Chicken is really nice. After that it's back to sketching then sleeping.

Day 6 - Tuesday 28th November

Had the same old breakfast again for the last time, thankfully lol. Checked out and then talked as it rained. My dad joked that we could shop till 5pm since we can leave anytime we want. Never did i know that he actually meant it lol.

Well actually we went to Sungei Wang and i just stoned there for a hell load of time till 5pm haha. After that it was a long long car ride home. I'm gonna miss, and yes i will miss boring breakfast too. One advertisement i seen there said that buildings can come from nature or from the mind of a genius, but the best ones for example ur Petronas Tower are buildings which come from the heart. In short, what you view can change your view of life.

Now as i reach home, I'm gonna finish off the sketches to hand up to my favourite child, i mean chow. Heh sketching is child's play, i mean chow's play, but doing perfect sketches is...errm (fill in any word related to hard here) ?! O and time seems to fly 10 - 30km/h more slowly in Singapore than in Malaysia for the return journey lol. Ok dats all. Nitez.

Lost Causes and Comical Gangsters of Today

Its been weeks since i last posted. LOL my tagboard is pretty active...

So to summarise everything up to this point : LOST CAUSES...

People say hardwork pays off? No, not if ur working for a lost cause. No matter how hard you try, nothing seems ever to go your way.

People say working smartly pays off? No, not if u've exhausted all your ideas. Imagination is unlimited, but life itself puts restrictions on what you can use. Thus a lost cause again...

Sometimes the best way to find the answer to your lost cause is to stop looking. Thereafter, perhaps on the most unexpected day in a most unexpected way, you will find it. This is due to the fact that there is a higher power up there (i'm referring to God) who is throwing all the elements together to set in motion for further events in the future to occur.

The question is - What do we do when we finally find the solution?

Anyway i would lyk to share something really comical about todays gangsters. Today's gangsters are that "all talk no action" type of person who only know how to curse in hokkien (most of the time they don't even know what they're saying, let alone expecting their victim to know...) and when the victim uses self defence or something, they usually flee...

Heres an example of a type of "all talk no action" gangster from a friend of a friend of mine. He goes ,"Chup tolo? See gin nah? Kpkb you kaka come tio daiji with me? Don't hum ji ah? Lim pei learn muay thai ah!"

Firstly, chup tolo means : which gang are you from?
This is a stupid comment since most victims arent even in any gang. And if the gangster is actually trying to target the victim's gang, wouldnt he know already? Redundancy i must say...

See gin nah means : DIE, CHILDREN
Maybe to curse someone doing injustice to you, but why say DIE CHILDREN? Doesnt he know how many old people out there want relive their childhood lives again? It may in fact be considered a compliment to some. Lol

Kpkb you wan come tio daiji with me : Cry father cry mother you want come and show attitude(i dunno wad tio daiji means, i dun speak in hokkien and i dun ever intend to, but from contextual clues, i guess it means show attitude) with me?
What? Cry father cry mother? And whos the one whos coming to tio daiji first? THE GANGSTER WAD! Stoopid he should speak for himself...And to the non hokkien listener, the comment will even sound funny as it makes him start portraying the thought of the gangster doing taichi!

Dont humji ah : Dont chicken out ah
Right who the hell is stupid enough to fight a gangster then get jailed. Getting stupider...

The stupidest comment of all -
Lim pei learn muay thai ah - My father learns muay thai ah...
Does he actually know that lim pei means father. If so, WHO CARES ABOUT HIS FATHER? Its not lyk his father is gonna help him fight, unless his father is more retarded than he is and the gangster is a chip off the old block. Even worse, some gangsters think lim pei is referring to themselves! Haha wad the hell, now they're insulting themselves as middle aged people...

O wellz...haha...I'm quite thankful for this "All talk no action" type of gangster. Yea really, its a far greater contrast from the Mafia in USA and Italy with their "Hit first and ask questions later" type of attitude. Or even the terrorists around the world who hit first and don't ask questions later (cos they suicide bomb?). Yea im rather glad due to the fact that in Singapore, we got gangsters who are noob, and not the mafia or the terrorists, which ensures the low crime rate in this country.

Taking the small unnoticeable things in life for granted...

About 72% of the fat free mass of the human body is made of water. To function properly, the body requires between one and seven litres of water per day to avoid dehydration; the precise amount depends on the level of activity, temperature, humidity, and other factors. Most of this is ingested through foods or beverages other than drinking straight water. It is not clear how much water intake is needed by healthy people.

Well thats not the point...The point is that we should not take water for granted...I learnt it the hard way this afternoon

Some weird people want to get the experience of fainting just for the fun of it...well its not fun...During training i suddenly became nauseous, its like everywhere suddenly gone black. I suddenly became super weak and couldnt even stand up properly. I used every remaining strength left inside me to keep myself from fainting. My instructor told me i was dehydrated and asked me to drink a hell load of water (its true, i didnt drink any water throughout the day, i oso dunno why)...After drinking many gallons of water (ok im exaggerating...but its a lot), i felt more alive than ever and got back to training again...

But the negative thought at the back of my mind keeps coming - If i fail to be able to take care of myself properly, how would i be able to take care of my own juniors during the cca hike?...

The result of taking such small unnoticeable things in life such as water for granted gives rather major consequences...

Chemistry

Life is all about chemistry...

Why is mole concept created? So scientists can come to a common unit of measurement...A common way to express the quantity of grams per relative molecular mass...

In life, we humans have tried many ways to express ourselves better towards others. Take currency for example, people of different countries had different currencies and thus tried to find ways to trade with each other more efficiently, thus the US Dollar was made the common currency...

Ever since the beginning of times, humans have failed many times in trying to find ways to express ourselves to each other better. If only there was ever a formula for our relationships in life...

Life is like a mixture of chemical equations into one dam big one. Whatever variables you put in on the left hand side would affect what would appear on the right hand side. You can never cheat the great chemical equation of life. Its just lyk karma (LOL! wad goes around comes around...)

And of course life is literally chemistry...U dun believe? YOU BLOODY MORON, UR BREATHING IN AIR MOLECULES!! AND UR LYK ALMOST MOSTLY MADE UP OF H2O...

Hehe the point is that there is more to everything (even chemistry) that meets the eye (duh...can u see atoms? Wait, you cant even see vulgarities coming out of my mouth haha)...
